Chapter Awards Process

Each year, GASE Network honors chapters that showcase exceptional programming and innovation.

Chapters wishing to be considered for the Chapter of Excellence Award must submit their Chapter Annual Report, available on July 1, and due by August 15 for consideration.

Chapters applying for the Chapter Program of Excellence Award must submit their application by August 31, specifying the particular program or activity they wish to highlight.

GASE Network’s Regional and Constituency Directors evaluate the reports and make recommendations to the Committee on Qualifications and Membership. This committee reviews all nominations and selects winners based on the criteria outlined below.

Award Criteria

Chapter of Excellence Award Criteria:

• Community Impact – The reach and diversity of the audience, outreach efforts, and visibility.
• Innovation and Initiative – Creativity and unique approaches in programming.
• Breadth and Variety – A diverse range of activities addressing multiple objectives.
• Overall Program Quality – Excellence in execution and impact.

Chapter Program of Excellence Award Criteria:

• Institutional or Community Impact – The reach and diversity of the audience, outreach efforts, and visibility.
• Innovation and Initiative – Creativity and effective use of resources.

Chapter Awards Recognition

Winners will be recognized at the GASE Network Annual Meeting and prominently featured on the GASE Network website, social media, and e-communications. Awardees will also be highlighted in GASE Network publications.
